Idris Okuneye, a popular crossdresser better known as Bobrisky, admitted to being male in court on Friday.
The crossdresser has sparked debate regarding his gender identity.
Bobrisky is known for masquerading as a woman and claims to have undergone various procedures to change his gender.
At one point, the cross-dresser even stated that he was ready to have a child.
However, immediately before he was handed a 6-month jail term on Friday, Justice Abimbola Awogboro asked the defendant about his sex, and he quickly responded, “I am a man, My Lord.”
The judge ruled that the jail term began on March 24, 2024, the day of his arrest.
Recall that on April 5, 2024, the court condemned him after he pleaded guilty to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) four-count charge of naira abuse.
