Not less than three policemen have been killed by unknown gunmen on Wednesday night in Enugu state.
According to reports, the police officers were on duty along Obeagu-Amechi in Enugu South Local Government Area and Amagunze in Nkanu East Local Government Area when they were ambushed and killed by the hoodlums.
The gunmen also burnt their patrol vehicle.
The spokesperson of Enugu police command, Daniel Ndukwe comfirmed the incident stating that investigations have began and further information will be revealed to the public later.
