The students and staff of Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic abducted in Kaduna on June 11 have been released on Friday morning.
Chronicle NG reported that bandits attacked the school located along the Kaduna-Zaria in the night, shooting at students and leaving several others injured.
The school management suspended academic activities following the abduction of the students and staff as it sought to safeguard other students.
The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan confirmed the incident at the time.
The abduction of the students and staff happened three months after bandits attacked the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization Afaka in Igabi local government area of Kaduna state and Greenfield University in Chikun local government areas, where they kidnapped over fifty students and killed five others.
