The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 575 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Monday.
The 575 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 29286.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 163 patients from isolation centers across the country with nine new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 123 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 11357.
Federal Capital Territory recorded 100 new cases, Delta reported 58 new cases while Edo, Ogun, and Katsina recorded 52, 42 and 24 new cases respectively.
Other states are Bayelsa-23, Rivers-22, Borno-19, Plateau-18, Ondo-18, Oyo-17, Kwara-15, Osun-13, Enugu-9, Nasarawa-7, Abia-6, Cross River-5, Kaduna-3 and Ekiti-1.
NCDC reports that there are 29286 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 11828 discharged and 654 deaths.
