The candidate of the Green Party of Nigeria, GNP, Sir Victor Akubo has cried out over threat to his life and his family.
Sir Akubo who revealed this in a press briefing in Lokoja on Friday called on the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed and other security agencies to safe guard his life.
Akubo said, “I have been receiving anonymous calls and series of attacks on my campaign team.
“These attacks negate the doctrine of democratic principles of freedom of association and the right to vote and be voted for.
“I urged all security agencies especially the police to ensure my protection and that of my family as well as provide a level playing field for all candidates and parties.” Nigeria News
