Mayhem in Maiduguri as twin explosion rocks the a crowded area near the city’s main market.
I has been reported that the two blasts occurred in quick succession at about 8:48 a.m.
According to report, the Police public relations officer, Victor Isuku, confirmed the blasts which he stated that was near Old NEPA office not far from Monday market.
The attacked area is one of the busiest places in Maiduguri and is usually crowded with commuters and pedestrians.
As at the time of filing this report, rescue workers are being mobilized to the blast site.
The source of the explosions is yet to be determined.
