The Director General, President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organization, Rotimi Amaechi has appointed Festus Keyamo, SAN as the spokesperson for Buhari’s campaign in 2019.
Reacting to the letter, Keyamo posted on Twitter. “With this letter below, I have just been appointed the Director, Strategic Communications (Official Spokesperson) for the President’s 2019 Presidential Campaigns.
But he indicated that he had not accepted the offer. “I will be making a formal statement on this much later,” he tweeted.

In the letter written to him reads, “I am pleased to convey to you the decision of the President Muhammadu Buhari campaign organization to appoint you as, Director, Strategic Communications in respect of the forthcoming campaigns for the 2019 presidential elections.
“As you are aware, President Muhammadu Buhari is seeking the nomination of our great party, All Progressives Congress, as the candidate for the said election.
“Your appointment is to aid in getting that nomination and to ensure the success of the subsequent campaigns for the 2019 presidential elections.
“In your capacity, you are to be the spokesperson for the campaign during the nomination process and also at the subsequent campaigns for the 2019 presidential elections.
“Please accept my congratulations,” Amaechi said in the letter.
