A female student of Taraba State University, simply identified as Precious, attempted to end her life after her unclad pictures were sent to her father.
Precious reportedly attempted to end her own life at the institution’s State Polytechnic campus hostel.
According to separate accounts, Precious allegedly sent unclad photographs of herself to her boyfriend, which were later leaked and forwarded to her father.
Chronicle NG gathered that the development reportedly left her distressed, prompting her to climb the three-story hostel building in an apparent attempt to jump to her death.
However, her colleagues in the hostel reportedly rushed to the scene and rescued her before she could carry out the act.
According to reports, after she was left alone, Precious allegedly drank shampoo, causing whitish substances to gush from her mouth.
The Taraba student was immediately rushed to a hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment.
