Arsenal teenage sensation Max Dowman has achieved another significant record after becoming the youngest player ever to win the English Premier League title.
He accomplished the astonishing feat after Arsenal won their first Premier League title in 22 years, following Manchester City’s draw with Bournemouth on Tuesday.

This is another record for the 16-year-old midfielder, who debuted in August 2025 as the Premier League’s youngest player at 15 years and 235 days old.
After scoring a late goal to secure a 2-0 home win over Everton in March, he became the Premier League’s youngest scorer at 16 years and 73 days, and in November 2025, he became the Champions League’s youngest player at 15 years and 308 days.
Dowman will officially get a medal after making at least five league appearances during Arsenal’s title-winning campaign.
Dowman will be 16 years and 144 days old on the final day of the season, easily breaking the previous record set by Phil Foden, who won the Premier League with Manchester City in 2017-18 at the age of 17 years and 350 days.
The development of the Arsenal youth graduate has been one of English football’s biggest breakout stories this season.
Dowman joins a select line of teenage Premier League champions, including former Arsenal players Nicolas Anelka and Gaël Clichy.
This season, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has cautiously incorporated Dowman into the first squad, with the midfielder starting all five Premier League games from the bench.
Despite his young age, the teenager has demonstrated poise, technical ability, and maturity above his years, swiftly becoming one of Europe’s most talked-about young players.
