The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has appointed Mrs. Temilade Okesanjo as its Resident Consultant for Strategy and Communications, effective immediately.

The ICPC, in a statement on Friday, stated that the move was designed to enhance operational efficiency, improve institutional coordination, and strengthen public engagement across its activities.

“This appointment marks the first time strategy has been formally incorporated into a resident consultant portfolio at the commission, further enhancing the ICPC’s existing approach to prevention, institutional integrity, and impact-driven governance,” it stated on its website.

Okesanjo brings to the role over 16 years of combined public and private sector experience.

She started her career in the financial sector at Ecobank Nigeria before moving on to public service, where she worked for the Ministries of Transportation, Culture, and Tourism.

In 2018, she left the federal service to start Woodford Consulting Company, where she has managed high-level strategy and execution advising engagements.

“In her new role, Okesanjo will support the commission in two distinct areas. On strategy, she will ensure that ICPC’s priorities, interventions, and engagements are deliberate, coherent, and fully aligned with its statutory mandate.

“On communications, she will ensure that these priorities are clearly articulated and responsibly conveyed, building trust with stakeholders and the public,” the statement added.

According to the commission, the appointment is meant to improve internal coherence, strengthen preventive efforts, and guarantee that institutional initiatives have measurable and long-term impact.

Okesanjo has previously advised the Presidency, federal ministries, departments and agencies, and foreign organizations on policy execution, institutional change, and public-sector governance.
