    With less than 15 days to go, anticipation is building for the 2024 ThrivePath Public Health Conference, a premier event focused on tackling critical issues in public health.

    Scheduled for November 28 at 6:30 PM (UK Time), the highly anticipated event will feature an impressive lineup of public health experts and leaders, who will share insights and strategies to address pressing health issues and improve life outcomes globally.

    The conference will showcase the expertise of distinguished speakers, including Dr. Anjan Ghosh, who has been Director of Public Health since 2017. He will discuss the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Strategy, which tackles regional health challenges over the next five years.

    Morenike Ajayi, MBE, a trailblazer in race equality and founder of Career Nuggets, will highlight her work empowering the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) community through mentoring and career development initiatives.

    Also speaking will be Bernadette Thompson, OBE, Director of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. With over two decades of experience in the Civil Service, she will delve into strategies for fostering diversity and cultural transformation.

    Prof. Mike Okorie, an expert in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics, will discuss his innovative approaches to safe medicine use and medical education.

    Megan Abbott, Suicide Prevention Specialist at Kent County Council, will share her efforts in reducing suicide rates and building community resilience through multi-agency collaboration.

    The ThrivePath conference will open with a virtual icebreaker at 6:20 PM, designed to encourage active participation and set the tone for engaging discussions throughout the evening. Attendees can join the event via Zoom using Meeting ID: 367 075 7061 and Passcode: Thrive.

    The organizers promise a dynamic and inspiring experience that blends thought-provoking presentations with practical insights, making this an essential event for public health professionals, students, and advocates.
