Mr. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a member of the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) National Campaign Committee for the upcoming Ondo State governorship election, has expressed confidence that the party will win.

In a statement released on Sunday, Oyintiloye, a former lawmaker representing the Obokun State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, projected a landslide victory for Ondo Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa, who is also the party’s candidate in the election.

The ex-lawmaker stated that Ayedatiwa’s impressive achievements in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure development will tip the balance of power in his direction.

He also stated that in the nearly eight years that the APC has governed Ondo, the state has undergone extraordinary transformation, asking the electorate to vote for the party and shock the opposition.

“That is no doubt. The election is going to be free, fair, and peaceful, and the APC will win with a clear-cut margin. The electorate will never allow the state to go backwards, and that is why they will come out peacefully to vote for the APC.

“There is no magic about it. The APC will win massively, and the opposition parties will be shocked. Our committee, under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nassarawa State, will approach our task with due diligence. But Ayedatiwa and the APC in Ondo have made our job easy,” Oyintiloye said.

He urged voters to be peaceful and orderly before and after the election, emphasising that it should not be a ‘do or death’ situation.
