    Nigerian woman Olubunmi Okeniyi dies after relocating to UK

    Mrs. Olubunmi Okeniyi, a Nigerian woman, has reportedly died less than a month after relocating to the United Kingdom, UK.

    Her death was announced in a statement on X by a social media user simply identified as Oluomo.

    According to the statement, the deceased died on Sunday in Sunderland. However, he did not reveal the cause of her death.

    “With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Olubunmi Okeniyi, who tragically passed away on 13/10/24 at 4:30pm in Sunderland, UK,” the statement partly read.

    Oluomo also mentioned that the deceased travelled to the UK from Nigeria along with her sons on September 16, 2024, less than a month to her demise.

    The deceased is survived by her husband and two sons, Oluomo revealed.

    “Mrs. Olubunmi, who arrived from Nigeria with her two sons on 16/09/24, is survived by her husband, Mr. Jacob Okeniyi,” Oluomo added.
