England international Cole Palmer has been voted the EA Sports Player of the Month for September 2024.

Palmer led the Premier League in both goals and goal involvement in September, according to the news made on Friday via the official EPL website, scoring five times and assisting once in only four outings.

Palmer’s most impressive performance came in Chelsea’s 6-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, when he became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half.

His astonishing four-goal haul came in 21 minutes, demonstrating his tremendous finishing skill and poise under pressure.

This crushing performance alone cemented his spot in the league’s history.

In addition to his goal against Brighton, Palmer assisted in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace and scored again in Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over West Ham United.

These contributions strengthened his case for the award. This is Palmer’s second Player of the Month honour; his first was in April 2024.

His consistency is clear; he has now won two of the previous three available trophies.

The 22-year-old beat out an eight-man shortlist after a public vote on the EA SPORTS website was merged with votes from a panel of football experts.

In a statement on Friday, the club wrote, “It had to be him. Cole Palmer is the Premier League Player of the Month for September.”

In another, it wrote, “Best get updating this graphic soon…

“PL August Goal of the Month; PL hat-trick against Brighton & Hove Albion; England Men’s Player of the Year; and PL September Player of the Month.”
