Amid calls for national unity, the Yorubas have been described as a genetic ‘inferior’ race whose men seek after Igbo women in a bid to “upgrade their genetic make-up.“

In a series of comments on X on Sunday, Dr. Maduka Chinemelum Ogwueleka mentioned that the ‘high demand’ for Igbo women by Yoruba men stems from his claims that the Igbo blood is “superior both mentally and physically.”

Describing them as “ofemanu, a derogatory Igbo team used to describe the Yorubas, Ogwueleka mentions that even Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, is betrothed to an Igbo lady, Chioma Rowland.

Men from the southwest “love to marry Igbo women in order to upgrade their genetic make-up to a higher level,” he wrote.

“Don’t forget that Davido has Igbo DNA,” he added.

The Igbo man also mentioned that when a man from the southwest “makes small money, they start looking for Igbo women (with superior DNA) to marry.”

Furthermore, he mentioned that Seyi Tinubu, the son of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is married to an Igbo woman.

Ogwueleka alleged that Seyi Tinubu “dated a Yoruba woman for several years. However, when he was ready for marriage, his father, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, insisted that he must dump the Yoruba lady and marry an Igbo woman.”

“Today, Seyi is married to an Igbo woman,” he said.

The staunch critic of the Yorubads also alleged that “unfortunately, 99.99% of Igbo men don’t want their women. Igbo blood is superior (both mentally and physically).”
