Ibrahim Owodunni, aka Primeboy, an associate of late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has disclosed that the musician, until his death, questioned the paternity of his child, Liam.

Primeboy, in a statement, alleged that Mohbad, who only had sex once with his wife Patricia Omowunmi, questioned the paternity of their child, Liam.

Primeboy noted that the two were involved in a heated argument after the singer performed at a show in Lagos.

Primeboy stated “After Mohbad performed at the show, I followed him back to the car. Wunmi was in the car with Liam. When we entered the car, they continued their fight.

“Mohbad became so angry and told me to go and clear the road that he wanted to leave. I calmed him down and told him to hold on a little for the other artists performing so we could go together, and he agreed.

“I got down and entered the car again. They already started fighting, and Mohbad said, ‘I don’t even know if this baby is mine because I don’t trust you. I only had sex with you once, and you came back a few days after that. You were pregnant.”

Revealing that the late singer lamented being dwindled financially by his wife’s family, who keep collecting debts without paying them back, according to Primeboy, Mohbad allegedly complained about his wife and her family plotting to kill him.

“Your family is planning on how you guys will kill me and inherit all my property. Your family keeps borrowing huge amounts of money from me without returning it. Your family is choking me.

“You want to bring me down’. Wunmi got mad, and I told Mohbad that this was a family issue. You should not be saying that here. Go to the house and settle it,” Primeboy added.

The ‘Omo ghetto’ crooner died on September 12 at the age of 27, with the circumstances surrounding his death sparking controversies on social media.

Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s Marlian Music record label, left the company in February 2022.

On September 18, 2023, the state police command established a 13-man special investigation team to look into the death.
