Amid calls for greater or equal participation of women in all facets of society, they have been described as “selfish” and “bad leaders.”

A social media influencer simply identified as Shola has stated that females should not be allowed to taste the corridors of power because they will fail to carry everyone along.

Shola remarked while responding to statements made by my Nigerian singers, Oyinkasola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly called Ayra Starr, and Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems.

Ayra Starr had stated that if she were president for just a day, she’d make sure only the female gender paid for nothing.

Her counterpart, Tems, also recently said women should only support females.

Reacting to these statements, Shola noted that only men should remain leaders because they look out for everybody.

Shola also alleged that if females become leaders, men will suffer.”

The social media influencer also alleged that while men distribute wealth across both genders, females whom he termed “selfish,” do not.

He also noted that empowering females “always leads to suffering because most women are selfish and aren’t leaders by nature.”

Shola’s statement reads, “Only men look after everybody; women don’t care about men. The reason why if men remain leaders, women are covered, is that if women become leaders, men will suffer.

“There’s no rich or successful woman out there that has never had the support or push from a man, be it a father, brother, boyfriend, or sugar daddy. There’s always a man.

“Men lift and distribute wealth across both genders; women don’t. Some women then get on top and forget who raised or pushed them was a man.

“This is the same reason when men make money: they think of starting a family, taking a woman out of poverty, making her their responsibility, and having women covered, but when women make money, they believe they don’t need a man anymore.

“Empowering women always leads to men suffering because most women are selfish and aren’t leaders by nature.”
