No fewer than five Palestinians were killed and two more injured in an Israeli strike on a building in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance service said early on Saturday.
The Israeli military did not immediately respond to the incident in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus’ central center.
Earlier, the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) claimed its physicians were dealing with five significant injuries from the bomb, all of which were men aged 19 to 25.
The West Bank, which the soldiers occupied in the 1967 Middle East conflict, has experienced a major increase in violence following last month’s fatal attack on southern Israel by Hamas gunmen from Gaza.
According to United Nations estimates, Israeli soldiers have killed at least 186 Palestinians in the West Bank since the Oct. 7 Hamas onslaught.
According to the numbers, eight more civilians have been slain by settlers, while four soldiers have been killed in Palestinian attacks.
