The Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has commiserated with the family, friends, and loved ones of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Usman Ahmed Yusuf, over his sudden demise.

Egbetokun, while expressing his heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolence in a statement released by Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, on Thursday, noted that his demise is an irreplaceable loss not just to his family but to the nation as a whole.

Ahmed, who died in the early hours of September 8, 2023, after a brief illness at the age of 60, was described by Egbetokun as “a quiet and unassuming senior officer” loved by many.
