    Governor Mai Mala Buni has distributed food baskets as palliatives to over 3,000 disadvantaged households in Jakusko Local Government Area of Yobe State to alleviate the effects of the removal of subsidies.

    • Makinde sets up Oyo palliative committee

    The Governor flagged off the distribution exercise in Jakusko LGA, Yobe North Senatorial District.

    In recent times, Buni has flagged off similar distributions of food items in Damaturu and Fune Local Government Areas in Zones A and B of the State.

    The distribution exercise is aimed at over 80,000 vulnerable households, with over 400, 000 people spread throughout 14,500 communities in the State’s 17 Local Government Areas.
