Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, has promised Nigerians that her Renewed Hope Initiative, when fully operational, will provide help and support to families across the country.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Renewed Hope Initiative, following the second meeting of the initiative’s Governing Board, which was held in her office at the state House in Abuja.
She stated that all modalities have been put in place to enable a successful launch of the project across the federation’s 36 states and the FCT.
She further stated that all of the states and 774 local government councils would be involved because the project is all-inclusive for the federation.
She identified the project’s focal points as agriculture, health, education, social investment, and economic empowerment.
To that purpose, she stated that a conference with the wives of all state governors would be held on Friday, July 14, at which the modalities for the project’s effective implementation would be made public.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Hajiya Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President and National Vice Chairman of the Initiative, expressed the governing board’s enthusiasm for the project, noting that Nigerians are in for better times to complement the Federal Government’s efforts.
Chief (Mrs) Chioma Uzodinma, the Initiative’s National Secretary, also spoke, saying the initiative will fly on the wings of collaborative efforts from all sectors to improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
