    Quelea birds wreak havoc on hectares of rice farms

    Quelea birds have caused a huge loss to Nigerian farmers in Kebbi State.

    It was revealed in a video tweeted on the Nigeria Television Authority’s official Twitter page.

    “Quelea Birds Wreak Havoc in Kebbi State.”

    “About 75 thousand hectares of dry-season rice plantations were attacked by Quelea birds in Argungu, Kebbi State.”

    “An estimate of a hundred farmers have lost their farms already while the birds are still raging.”
