Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, has received his Certificate of Return.
On Wednesday, the Certificate was presented to him by Professor Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC.
The president-elect won 12 states, while his closest rival, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar, also won 12 states.
Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, won 11 states, including the FCT, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, won one.
The president-elect received 8, 794, 726 votes, while Atiku received 6,984,520.
Obi received 6,101,533 votes, while Kwankwaso received 1, 496, 687 votes.
