    ‘Star Boy is back’, Timi Dakolo, others hail Osinbajo’s return

    Popular Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo, and other citizens have hailed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s return to work on Wednesday after he turned up for the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

    The Vice President is physically attending the meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari four weeks after he underwent a leg

    surgery at the Duchess Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria.

    The Vice President has been performing his functions virtually since he was discharged from the hospital.

    But to the delight of many Nigerians including members of the Federal Executive Council, Prof. Osinbajo turned up physically for the weekly meeting.

    Reacting to a post on Prof. Osinbajo’s Instagram post, Dakolo wrote, “Star boy has returned,” the song producer wrote.

    Laolu Oroge also commented, he wrote, “Star boy is back. Love to see it.

    Ministers greet Prof. Osinbajo

    Ayotunde Olaoye wrote, “Great to see you back on your feet.

    Akinwale Adetoro added, “Thank God our Vice President is back to his duty. Happy to see you back Sir.

    Caleb Mgbah also wrote, “The model leader, the eagle is back in full flight.

    Chronicle NG reports that the National Medical Association had called on other political office holders in the country to emulate the Vice President to nd medical tourism.

    The National President of the association, Dr Uche Ojinmah said this in a ‘Get-Well Wish’ statement.

    He also commended the Vice President for demonstrating confidence in Nigerian doctors and the healthcare system.

    “We wish to thank God for seeing our Vice President through surgery. All Nigerian doctors are praying for his quick and complete recovery.”
