    R. Kelly admitted to having sex with a witness in his second federal trial who was underage.

On June 29, R. Kelly was given a 30-year sentence after being found guilty in New York of racketeering and sex trafficking.

The artist is currently preparing for a second trial in Chicago on 13 counts, including child porn, obstructing the administration of justice, and luring children into sexual activities.

On August 17, the trial for R. Kelly in federal court in Chicago began with the opening statements.

    R. Kelly had sex with her “hundreds of times” before she reached 18 according to a witness who is now 37 and goes by the alias “Jane.”
She said that the inappropriate contact with Kelly started when she was 13 in court on Thursday.

The troubled artist is not “a monster,” according to Kelly’s attorneys, and should be given a fair trial.

Parts of at least four movies Kelly allegedly recorded with Jane will be played for the jury, according to the prosecution.

Jane testified that Kelly started having intercourse with her when she was 15 and did so “uncountably” of times.

Photos of her in high school were provided to the jury to indicate how young she appeared to be at the time.

Jane revealed many sex experiences that Kelly reportedly videotaped over the course of a two-hour testimony.

Kelly appeared to give her money in one video. When asked why, Jane responded that Kelly thought that if it was made public for some reason, he would accuse her of being a prostitute.

In this trial, two of Kelly’s former workers are also accused.

His former business manager, Derrel McDavid, is charged with aiding Kelly in fixing the 2008 trial, and Milton Brown is accused of obtaining child pornography.

Both men have pleaded not guilty.
