The 27th edition of GOtv Boxing Night will be a special blend of entertainment and sport, as top-rated Nigerian music stars are set to perform on the night.
Organized by FlyKite Productions, the event, which is the biggest boxing competition in Africa, will take place at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos on December 26.
Among artists scheduled to perform live at the show are Ruger, Pheelz, Gongo Aso crooner, 9ice; Chinko Ekun, and internationally recognized deejay, DJ Xclusive.
Disclosing the entertainment package, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Flykite Productions, Mr. Jenkins Alumona, said the line-up of artists will be lengthened, as there are plans to add more musicians. He noted that the artists have been carefully selected to give the fans the time of their lives.
“GOtv Boxing Night 27 is a festival of sport and music. We have selected these top artists and are hoping to add more to give fans a memorable experience,” he said.
The night will also feature six bouts, including a World Boxing Federation (WBF) title fight between Taiwo “Esepor” Agbaje and Richard Taruc Pumicpic of the Philippines.
