    7 great shows for kids on GOtv this festive season

    As schools go on break for the holidays, GOtv is officially welcoming kids to the festive season with a wide range of fun-filled and exciting programming that even grown-ups can enjoy! And with the introduction of two new kids’ channels – Cartoon Network and Da Vinci – on GOtv Max, kids will be spoilt for choice making GOtv the ultimate destination this holiday season.

    From Educational programmes, arts & crafts to exciting adventures, GOtv has got the kiddies covered this week!

    Here are seven shows to keep the kids entertained during the holidays:

    M-Net Movies Zone Kids Club: The M-Net Movies Zone Kids Club is a 5-hour block featuring some of the coolest and intriguing shows for teens on M-Net Moves Zone (channel 3). Showing Sunday, 15th December Mirror Mirror. When Snow White’s evil stepmother takes over her kingdom and banishes her to the woods, she is forced to team up with a ragtag bunch of seven dwarfs to take back what’s rightfully hers. Watch it this Sunday at 7:44pm

    Pinkalicious & Peterrific is showing on PBS (channel 65): On this episode, Pinkalicious brings her pet unicorn, Goldie, to school and she soon discovers that even imaginary unicorns must follow rules. Catch this on Thursday, 12th December at 10:12am.

    Do not miss out on this episode of Messy Goes to Okido on Jim Jam (channel 61): Messy’s tummy is rumbling and so is Lofty the giant. Luckily the gang are hungry to solve this scientific mystery. Tune in Friday, 13th December at 6am.

    For kids who love arts and crafts, Science Max is showing on Da Vinci (channel 66): This show will surely keep their hands busy! On this episode, Phil builds a bridge out of pasta, it’s not too hard and works better than you think. But what if we were to try to make a pasta bridge big enough for Phil to walk across? In addition, you will learn how to build a sandcastle you can stand on! Catch this on Friday, 13th December at 9am.

    Catch the Best Holidays Ever Marathon of SpongeBob on Nickelodeon (channel 62):  There will be winter episodes and Christmas specials to celebrate SpongeBob’s Best Year Ever! Showing Saturday, 14th at 12pm and Sunday, 15th December at 4:15pm.

    Apple & Onion premieres on Monday, 16th December on Cartoon Network (channel 67): This show centres around two best friends, who live in a big city full of other food people. Together, they use their can-do attitudes out of the box thinking to find new adventures around every corner, take on the challenges of life in the big city, and make some new friends along the way! The kids can tune in weekdays at 4:20pm.

    The Kiddies can follow Fancy Nancy Clancy on her adventures on Disney Junior (channel 60): Fancy Nancy goes on exciting adventures with family and friends, as she finds the extraordinary in the ordinary, and with a little imagination transforms the plain into the exquisite. This show premieres on the 16th December, showing weekdays at 8:30am.
