“We will not spare any efforts in passing laws that will serve as catalysts for our economic stability and growth.

“We will always continue pushing to pass pieces of legislation that will help make Nigerian businesses thrive across the nation.

“We will also continue to work hard to pass Bills that will help to put more money back in the pockets of every Nigerian man and woman — as well as create more jobs and opportunities for all our young people.

“God has blessed Nigeria with all the potential that it needs to have a strong economy that can take care of its growing population.

He noted that the country remained underdeveloped. “However, it is unfortunate that there is still much underdevelopment in the country.

“Most of the problems that are now threatening the unity, progress and peace of Nigeria are rooted in the poor state of the economy.

“Therefore, there is a need for governments at all levels and to citizenry to work together this year to ensure the success of policies that have been set-up to rebuild the economy, attract more foreign investment, and make the nation more self-sufficient.
