Gospel singer Alayo Melody has opened up about the circumstances surrounding the death of popular singer Bunmi Akinnanu, popularly known as Omije Ojumi.

In a video on Instagram, Melody said that plans to fly her to India for medical treatment were halted because she was too weak to fly.

Alayo explained it took over three attempts to get visa approval but by then doctors had already declared her unfit to travel.

He expressed gratitude to those who supported Omije Ojumi during the illness, mentioning Prophet Sam Ojo and Prophet Taiwo Ojo, who covered the costs of her visa processing and medical treatment.

He said: “I appreciate everyone who stood by Omije Ojumi when she was sick. Prophet Sam Ojo and Prophet Taiwo Ojo really did a lot.

“I want to appeal to prophets to stop going on the social media and telling their followers that they saw de@th visions about our celebs. If you see any bad vision about anyone, please contact them privately. Everybody will d!e one day. May God bless us with long life.,” Melody noted.
