    French President Emmanuel Macron has bestowed France’s highest honour on Dr Mike Adenuga for his commitment to promoting French language and the French culture.

    Adenuga received the “Commander of the Legion of Honour” from Macron on Wednesday in Lagos. The title conferred on Adenuga is France’s highest national honour.

    “I am happy today to honour Dr Mike Adenuga because he embodies the qualities that gives strength to Nigeria,” President Macron said at a small ceremony held for Adenuga.

    He added that, “You definitely are a role model for a lot of African entrepreneurs, for young Nigerians thinking about the future.

    “Thank you very much for your commitment to the promotion of French language, French culture in Nigeria and I am sure the next time I will meet you in France, your French will be outstanding.
