Tracka has offered a glimmer of hope for transparency and accountability in Nigeria

Nigerians have praised transparency platform, Tracka, for providing hope to the citizens through its fact-finding mission to make accountability and transparency a mainstay in the country.

Over the years, Tracka has managed to expose politicians and governments (state and federal) by demanding that they account for monies spent on projects.

On a daily basis, Tracka rolls out a number of projects via its Twitter handle, most of whom, were sponsored by federal lawmakers in the national budget.

Reacting to Tracka’s good work, Thean Onymou wrote, “@TrackaNG, you’re providing hope to Nigeria since the ONLY way, it seems, we can ‘fix’ our decaying society, where excuses for wrongdoing abound, is from the ground up. Even in the face of opposition and suspicion by those with clandestine interest, we support you. PEOPLE POWER.”

Elisha Shomefun also shared same optimism. “@TrackaNG is just what we need to push for accountability. Great job guys.”

For Malam Bello, Tracka has inspired a movement. “@TrackaNG well done u guys are doing a beautiful job not only seeking for accountability but u have instigated us to come up with a similar concept here at the State level.”

Abby Curtis argues that Constituency Projects nominated by lawmakers is a scam but Tracka is unveiling the scam. “From 1999 till date, constituency projects has been a scam.

“Questions were never asked til now and thanks to @TrackaNG If every Senetor, Rep & House Of Assembly member sincerely deliver 50% of these projects/per year, our communities will be a better place. There is no harm in asking questions.”

@TrackaNG this is such a great initiative. Great great stuff @BudgITng ????????????????????

Below are some of the pertinent questions posed by Tracka.
