    Tinubu exempts NAFDAC, NDLEA from dissolution

    The Federal Government has clarified that the governing Boards of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration & Control (NAFDAC) are exempted from dissolution which was announced by the Federal Government.

    This was communicated in a statement signed by Willie Bassey, Director of Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation

    Yesterday, Chronicle NG reported that President Bola Tinubu has approved the immediate dissolution of the governing boards of all federal government parastatals, agencies, institutions, and government-owned companies.

    However, the Federal Government in a press release has clarified that the governing Boards of NAFDAC and the NDLEA are exempted from such dissolution.

    EXEMPTION OF NDLEA AND NAFDAC BOARDS FROM DISSOLUTION

    Further to the directive on the dissolution of Boards of Federal Government Parastatals, Agencies, Institutions, and Government-owned Companies, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation has clarified that the Boards of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration & Control (NAFDAC) are exempted from such dissolution.
