President Bola Tinubu on Sunday congratulated the Chairman of Eleganza Group, Chief Rasaq Akanni Okoya, as he marks his 85th birthday on January 12, 2025.
Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, issued a statement praising the industrialist and philanthropist for his tremendous accomplishments and lasting legacy in Nigeria’s commercial environment.
“For over six decades, your endeavours and achievements have not only inspired countless businesses to succeed but have also significantly contributed to the growth of the Nigerian economy.
“The companies and industries you established have created jobs for thousands of Nigerians,” Tinubu said.
He also commended Okoya’s civic engagement, highlighting his dedication to promoting education and spirituality among Nigerians.
“Your generosity in offering scholarships has transformed the lives of many individuals,” he added, urging Nigerians to emulate the qualities that have made Okoya a pioneering figure in the business world.”
He also prayed for Allah’s blessings and good health for the celebrant.
