President Bola Tinubu congratulated his longtime ally and Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Dele Alake, on his 69th birthday.
This was revealed in a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President for Information and Strategy.
According to the announcement, Tinubu described Dr. Alake as a reliable ally, brilliant strategist, outstanding journalist, and experienced public servant.
Tinubu further praised his unwavering commitment to national development and good governance over the decades.
Reflecting on their long-standing friendship and partnership, Tinubu praised Alake’s contributions to public communication and nation-building, highlighting his current efforts to reposition the Solid Minerals sector as a major source of revenue through policy innovation, investment promotion, and formal integration of artisanal miners in accordance with the Renewed Hope agenda.
“On this special day,” the President said, “I pray that Almighty God continues to bless Dele with good health, wisdom, and strength. He has remained a committed, loyal, and outstanding ally for several decades. His steadfastness and unyielding dedication to Nigeria’s progress mark him as a true patriot.”
