A notorious terrorist kingpin, Usman Modi Modi, popularly known as “Kartakwa,” has been killed along with several others in a fierce clash between rival groups in Katsina on Tuesday.

The fight broke out around 2:00 PM, and according to a reliable source, it involved infamous terrorist leaders Abdulkarim Faca Faca of Marina Camp and Usman Modi Modi of Kanta Camp.

Usman Modi Modi and four other people were slain in the altercation.

According to the report, Mankare, Gunki Ummadau, Dogo Jabi Birinya Bayan Dutsin of Kurfi LGA, and Harisu Babba Yauni of Safana LGA were the other four of his lieutenants who were killed in the battle.

The reliable source claimed that Safana and Kurfi Local Government Areas (LGAs) were being terrorised by Usman Modi Modi and his cronies.

In contrast, similar activities are allegedly the work of the opposing gang, led by Abdulkarim Faca Faca, in the LGAs of Marina, Safana, and Batsari.

The source further revealed that two terrorists, Abdulrahman Jankare Gangare of Tsaskiya Safana LGA and Usaini Yauni of Safana LGA, were seriously injured during the conflict in the state.

He stated that searches are being conducted to find and capture the remaining offenders
