Marcus Rashford has dismissed claims that he is seeking a new agent to facilitate a move away from Manchester United.
A report earlier this week alleged that the England forward had met with a leading sports agency to engineer a transfer.
The 27-year-old hinted at being open to a “new challenge” during an interview last month, following a period of reduced playing opportunities under new manager Ruben Amorim.
Rashford has suffered a hard time over the previous two seasons, scoring just four Premier League goals this term. Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have been among the clubs recently connected with the forward.
However, Rashford, who is currently represented by his brother Dwaine Maynard, denied the reports about his future, stating on Instagram, “There have been a lot of false stories written over the past few weeks, but guys, this is getting ridiculous—I have never met with any agency and have no plans to.”
