IGP Usman Alkali commended Juliet Ukah, an officer of the Nigeria Police Force, after she defeated South Africa’s Crystal Van Wyk to become the African EFC Mixed Martial Arts Champion.

Following a successful Professional Training Tour, PC Juliet Ukah of the Nigeria Police Force fought and won against South Africa’s Crystal Van Wyk, who was undefeated until the bout, in Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) 102.
The fight, which took place on Thursday, April 13th, 2023, in Johannesburg, South Africa, was a three-round contest in which Juliet won by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27). Juliet also defeated Clodia Vochung Shivabo (IMBGIM FC) of Cameroon on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
PC Juliet is one of two female officers who have just been discharged by IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR, on a 6-week professional training tour in Thailand.
