The draws for the Champions League and Europa League play-off rounds have been unveiled, setting the stage for a thrilling end to the qualification journey.
With first-leg matches scheduled for August 20th and 21st, and second legs to follow a week later, the competition is heating up.
In the Champions Path of the Champions League play-offs, the standout tie features Swiss champions Young Boys taking on Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Croatian powerhouse Dinamo Zagreb will face either Qarabag of Azerbaijan or Bulgaria’s Ludogorets, depending on the outcome of their respective third qualifying round ties.
Danish side Midtjylland or Hungary’s Ferencvaros will clash with either Slovan Bratislava of Slovakia or APOEL of Cyprus. Poland’s Jagiellonia or Norway’s Bodo/Glimt have a challenging task ahead as they prepare to meet Serbia’s Red Star Belgrade. Swedish club Malmo or Greece’s PAOK will compete against either Sparta Prague of the Czech Republic or Romania’s FCSB.
In the League Path, French club Lille or Turkish outfit Fenerbahce will lock horns with either Slavia Prague of the Czech Republic or Belgium’s Royale Union SG. Dynamo Kyiv of Ukraine or Scottish side Rangers will battle against Austria’s RB Salzburg or the Netherlands’ Twente.
Teams failing to progress past the third qualifying round, where the first legs are taking place this week, will drop into the Europa League play-off round, scheduled in the same week as the Champions League play-offs.
