Jackson scored the game’s only goal in the 27th minute, assisted by Enzo Fernández.

Despite their best attempts, Everton were unable to produce an equaliser, and they continue farther down the table, trying to climb the ranks.

Manchester City leads Chelsea by one point and is third with 61 points after 34 games.
Nottingham Forest rounds out the top five with 60 points, tied with Chelsea but trailing on goal difference.
