Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has handed portfolios to his commissioners and special advisers after they were successfully screened by the state assembly.
Mr. Sanwo-Olu who on Tuesday named Mr. Rabiu Olowo Onaolapo as Commissioner for Finance. Rabiu is a certified fraud examiner and an experienced chief audit executive.
Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo was named the Commissioner for Education. The educationist with more than 20-year experience founded Leading Learning Limited, a consultant company in 2014.
The governor named Prof. Akin Abayomi as Commissioner for Health. The Prof. Emeritus is a specialist in internal medicine, oncology, environmental health and biosecurity while Dr. Idris Salako was named Commissioner for Fiscal Planning and Urban Development.
Former Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello is now Commissioner for Water Resources and Environment. The seasoned journalist is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Society of International Law, Nigerian Guild of Editors, Nigerian Union of Journalist, and Civil Liberty Organisation.
