The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) salutes Nigerian workers as they join their colleagues throughout the globe in celebrating Workers’ Day this year, encouraging them to strengthen their struggle against anti-democratic forces aiming to seize control of our country.
Chronicle NG reports that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) commends Nigerian workers for their resilience, loyalty, and patriotism in serving our fatherland despite the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s humiliating, suffocating, and assaulting anti-people economic policies, which have brought untold life-discounting experiences to Nigerians in the last eight years.
The purposeful suppression of Nigerian Labourers’ rights, well-being, and chances shows the sad truth of the APC administration’s inhumanity, insensitivity, and callousness, which delights in inflicting pain and suffering on residents.
The PDP observes that many Nigerians, particularly labourers, are suffering as a consequence of the outcome of the presidential election on February 25, 2023, which was marked by repeated violations, manipulations, change of authentic election results, and outright subversion of the will of the people.
The party calls on Nigerian workers to utilise their power and important position in our country to preserve and defend the country’s constitutional democracy against political manipulators trying to destroy Nigerians’ hopes for legitimate democratic leadership.
