Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Oladipupo Oladimeji, known by stage name, Oladips, appears to be alive eight days after faking his death.
In an Instagram reel post on his official page, the rapper was seen sitting and looking at the camera but not saying anything.
Chronicle NG reports that the death of Oladips was posted on his Instagram page on November 15. The post has since been deleted, indicating that he is alive.
The post announcing his death read, “We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, aka Oladips, passed away yesterday, November 14th, at exactly 10:14 p.m. We are still in shock as we speak!
“For over 2 years, he has kept his battles within himself; his body is now with his family.
“The family asked that we respect their privacy in this trying time. May God give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss. (Amen).
“His funeral services will be announced as soon as they are concluded, the statement read.
