A late goal by Goncalo Ramos secured Paris St-Germain’s (PSG) dramatic victory over Nice, ensuring that the current champions remained at the top of Ligue 1.
The Champions League holders appeared to be losing their second game in a row until the Portuguese forward headed in from a corner in the fourth minute of added time.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia flicked on Lee Kang-In’s set piece, and Ramos pounced to nod it in from close range.
Ramos, a former Benfica striker, has a track record of scoring in stoppage time this season, having done it with a header to equalize the UEFA Super Cup final against Tottenham before scoring late in the Champions League against Atalanta and Barcelona.
The result moved Luis Enrique’s PSG four points ahead of Monaco, who face Paris FC on Saturday evening.
PSG’s next Champions League match is against Bayern Munich on November 4th at 20:00 GMT, followed by a Ligue 1 away game against Lyon on November 9th at 19:45 GMT.
