The Delta State Police Command has apprehended Abdulahi Musa, a 34-year-old Okada rider who raped a 24-year-old woman.
Bright Edafe, the command’s Public Relations Officer, announced this on his Twitter page on Wednesday.
“On February 28, 2023, the suspect Abdulahi Musa, aged 34, carried a 24-year-old innocent girl who arrived in Asaba from Benin that night on his bike; instead of taking her to her destination, he diverted her to the bush and raped her through her anus,” he stated, sharing recordings and a photograph.
“The operatives of SIB commenced an intelligence-led investigation that lasted for 5 months, and the suspect was eventually arrested on 5/20/2023.
“We should be careful, especially at night and in areas we don’t know much about.” The heart of man, they say, is desperately wicked.”
