President Bola Tinubu, in a bid to reshape the economy of the country, has continued widespread consultation with key players on how to get the economy on the right track.
In this respect, Tinubu and vice president, Kashim Shettima, met with Senate President Godswill Akpabio, as well as governors from Imo, Kwara, Lagos, and Ogun, as well as former Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
According to Dele Alake, Presidential Adviser on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, the group also discussed how to finalize arrangements for the distribution of palliatives to mitigate the impact of the removal of fuel subsidies.
The presidency had previously advocated distributing grains and fertilizers to farmers as part of initiatives to improve the country’s food security.
