    President Bola Tinubu on Thursday appointed his son-in-law, Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, as the Federal Housing Authority’s new Managing Director/CEO.

    Ojo, a former member of the House of Representatives is married to Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, President Tinubu’s eldest daughter.

    His appointment is one of many in the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.

    “New FHA CEO, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, is a former Member of the House of Representatives with over a decade of work experience in the housing and hospitality industries,” Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to Tinubu on Media and Publicity announced on Thursday.

    The statement added, “He holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom.”

    Appointed alongside Ojo to the FHA is Mathias Terwase Byuan as executive director (Housing Finance & Accounts); Umar Dankane Abdullahi as executive director (Business Development); Oluremi Omowaiye as executive director (Project Implementation) and Arc. Ezekiel Nya-Etok as executive director (Estate Services).

    Tinubu noted that the appointment along with that of others was part of a holistic approach to repositioning the national housing and urban development sector to meet the present and future needs of Nigerian families nationwide.

    Tinubu also announced the appointment of Shehu Usman Osidi as managing director/CEO of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN).

    Others appointed to the FMBN are Ibidapo Odojukan, executive director (Finance & Corporate Services); Muhammad Sani Abdu, executive director (Loans & Mortgage Services); Chinenye Anosike, executive director (Business Development & Portfolios).
