Social media influencer Reno Omokri has vowed never to deny his brother, pastor Isaac Omokri, who is being accused of the rape of a minor.

Chronicle NG reports that Abraham Daniel accused pastor Isaac Omokri, the brother of Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, of raping his 15-year-old daughter.

Omokri, a pastor with The Nature Centre (Church), is alleged to have sexually molested the minor in 2023.

According to a video posted by the disgruntled father of the victim, Omokri walks freely despite allegedly committing the heinous act.

Stating that the Omokris are highly placed in society, he noted that though the case had been taken to court, “the matter had been compromised.”

Furthermore, he alleged that the police, the court, and the judges have also been compromised.

However, in a statement on his X page on Thursday, the self-acclaimed Table Shaker exonerated him from any culpability for influencing the alleged rape case.

Omokri made the remarks while reacting to a comment by Kalu Ugochukwu, a critic of the influencer, who described his entire family as “rapists.”

On Thursday, Ugochukwu accused the former presidential aide of coming from a family of rapists.

“You this Itshekiri people. All you know how to do is rape, like your rapist brother. Igbo can never stoop so low. Rapist family,” Ugochukwu mentioned.

Reacting to the backlash, Omokri wrote, “Thank you for your feedback. I am only going to respond to you because of the insult to my ethnicity. If not, I would have decided not to comment on this issue. But when you insult Itsekiris, you insult not just me, but my Ogiamen and my people, and I must, therefore, respond.”

He mentioned that his brother, whom he has not seen for donkey years, is an adult who should bear the consequences of the crime if found guilty.

“The young man in question is an adult. I last saw him in 2011. Before 2011, the last time I saw him was 2001. I can never deny him. And even if he is accused of murder, I will still not deny him.”

“However, let me clarify some things. He has no Itsekiri blood. He is half Igbo,” he added.

Exonerating himself from any culpability in ‘burying the case,’ the table shaker said, “And other than rendering financial assistance, I have never approached a lawyer, judge, or anyone else to bury any matter concerning him. And I will not do so for him or anyone.

“If anyone has evidence of my culpability in whatever he is accused of, I appeal to them to stop beating around the bush and immediately publish the evidence on social media.

“I guarantee such people that whatever evidence they post against me will go viral in less than an hour.”
