Reno Omokri, the former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has sternly criticized critics of the Federal Government for allegedly failing to give applause to the government when necessary.
Omokri, in a statement on his X handle on Tuesday, noted that those who condemn President Bola Tinubu’s policies fail to commend him when such policies yield positive results.
Alleging that Tinubu’s critics do not have the interest of Nigeria or the poor masses at heart, he noted that they are only bitter about losing the 2023 presidential election.
Speaking on the reduction in the prices of commodities that has skyrocketed in recent times, Omokri noted that the interest of these “election losers” is not in the best interest of Nigeria.
His statement reads, “The same people who were very loud when the price of some commodities rose dramatically are now quiet as the prices of those same commodities have dropped drastically.
“How much is Indomie? Has the price not crashed? They did not care about price. They are not concerned about the masses. Their interest is not in Nigeria.
“They just want to cause chaos because they and their movement lost the #NigerianElections2023. And they will politicize anything until they can no longer politicize it.
“Then they jump to the next thing. Elections are over. Prepare for 2027 instead of preparing to undermine Nigeria.”
