Nigerians have taken to social media to condole popular Singer and entertainer, Dbanj and wife Lineo Didi after they lost their son, Daniel Oyebanjo III.

Daniel drowned inside a swimming pool inside his father’s residence at Ikoyi, Lagos state, Southwest Nigeria. He only turned one last month.

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo led the way when he wrote on his Twitter page. “My heart and prayers are with Dapo and his family. No parent should ever have to bury a child. As a parent, it’s the worst thing imaginable. May God give you the fortitude to bear the loss, Dbanj,” the two-time leader wrote.

Popular DJ, Jimmy Jatt was so shattered he couldn’t write much. “Stay strong dbanj,” he tweeted on his minutes after the news broke on social media.

Bhadmus Hakeem, a digital media expert was having none of it. “It’s a fact that many of these social media users come from sad home, but please stay away from Dbanj and his wife during this trying time. How can you be so stupid to be mocking a parent over the loss of their child? I feel heartbroken to have read comments on Instablog today ????,” he tweeted.
