    Nollywood actress, filmmaker, and producer, Sharon Okpamen, has reportedly died, a month after welcoming her second child.

    Her death was announced by popular movie producer Stanley Ontop in a statement on his Instagram page.

    According to reports, the actress went into coma shortly after giving birth to her second child last month.

    The actress who starred in various movies like ‘The Hidden Secret,’ Ovibieze, died on Saturday, August 24, 2024.

    Stanley’s statement reads, “It’s a sad day for Nollywood and Edo entertainment industries.” Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry.

    May her soul rest in perfect peace, amen.”
